"Truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. Ignorance may deride it. But, in the end, there it is." — Winston Churchill
"In Buddhism we have relative truth and absolute truth." — Dalai Lama
Truth, as explained by Churchill, is the perfect definition. Nothing more; nothing less. Yet the Dalai Lama seems to believe there are two forms of truth: an absolute truth and a relative truth. And unfortunately a large percentage of the world today agrees with the Dalai Lama's definition: truth is relative — you have your truth and I have mine. Once again, Winston Churchill put it succinctly
"Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened." — Winston Churchill
My name is Lee Underwood and I have been reporting the news of Israel, the Jewish people, and the Middle East since 1994. Many of my commentaries and articles have been published on Arutz Sheva, Israel Insider and other sites.

The Name of the Site
Emet — — is the Hebrew word for truth. Yahweh declares through the prophet Zechariah, "These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to one another, render true and perfect justice in your gates" (Zechariah 8:16). ENS is dedicated to bringing forth the truth of what is happening in the world today, as it relates to Israel and the Jewish people.

I'm not speaking of morals here as these are rules dictated by society and can change as that society so chooses, such as it being moral in an Islamic society to murder your sister if she has had sex outside of marriage, or that the murder of unborn babies was morally correct up until recently, as prescribed by the United States Supreme Court.
