No Friend of Israel

I'm not sure I understand this at all. U.S. President George W. Bush has been in office 5 years, 4 months, and 8 days (1,954 days total), as of today, May 27, 2006. He has announced on several occasions that he will divide the State of Israel into two separate entities — Israel and Palestine. He has called this his "vision". He has also proclaimed on several occasions that he is proud to be the first President in the history of the United States to demand that Israel give up land to create a 'Palestinian' state. He is responsible — directly and indirectly — for the death of many Jews as a result of this [demonic] vision of his.

And yet, many Jews in Israel — and Christians in the U.S. — continue to proclaim that Bush is a great friend of Israel. Many of these people are dedicated to fighting the establishment of a terrorist 'Palestinian' state. But for some strange reason, they continue, although it is Bush himself who has made these statements, to say that he is being given bad advice or that it is the State Department that is making him do it. I don't deny that the U.S. State Department is anti-Israel but I do argue the fact that they are the ones making Bush act towards Israel as he is.

There are many that say George W. Bush is a man of integrity, and that he is a Bible-believing man. If that were true, then why does he lie and make no attempt to hide it? Why does he have this [demonic] vision of dividing the land that God gave to the Jewish people in order to further his political agenda? Why does he invade sovereign nations in order to fight an invisible "war on terror" but deny Israel the right to fight terror in her own backyard?

It is time for the Jews of Israel and the Christians of the U.S. to wake up and realize that George W. Bush is an enemy of God and the Jewish people (at least those who believe the promises God made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). It is time to stop sending the letters that he never reads, and making the telephone calls that he never receives, and start trusting in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You have made your pleas — for 5 years, 4 months, and 8 days you have made them. Face it: he doesn't care. It is God who says:

On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)

It is also God who states:

... and [when] My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

It is God alone who will deliver them, not some man — no matter who he is or what demonic vision he has. My heart burns for the people of God. "For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning (Isaiah 62:1).

Israel — the chosen people of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, listen to what the Lord has to say:

Hear, O My people, and I will bear witness to you; O Israel, if you would listen to Me! Let there be no strange god among you; nor shall you worship any foreign god. I, the Lord, am your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.... Oh that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would quickly subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries. Those who hate the Lord would pretend obedience to Him, and their time of punishment would be forever. But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you." (Psalm 81:8-10; 13-16)
