Dear Mr. Sharon:
Hearing the above news made me ill. There is no other word to describe the revulsion I felt in hearing what I take to be yet another one of your lies. You are resorting to the foulest dissemination of disinformation, and your fabrications ought to be nominated for a Pulitzer in the category of fiction.
In your rush to de-legitimize your former constituents and supporters, you know no bounds. In your onslaught against all that Judaism stands for, you do set yourself no limit. The smell of power has entered your nostrils, and the intoxicating fragrance of dictatorial powers has so befuddled your senses, that truth and falsehood have become one.
In other words, Mr. Sharon, I have no reason not to believe that you are a liar.

No, Mr. Sharon, no. The alleged fear of desecration is nothing more than another attempt on your part to besmirch those who oppose your plan to expel Jews from their homes. It is but another attempt to tar and feather those whose legitimate opposition to your one-man rule has become a thorn in your side.
In order to legally arrest, jail and expel political opponents, one needs a reason. If a reason is not readily available, fabrication is the best tool to employ. But one cannot go on fabricating forever, Mr. Sharon.
Yes, there are threats of desecration against graves. There is a very real — indeed a burning — fear that graves of loved ones will be abused, defiled and vandalized. Those fears, in fact, have time and again been shown to be justified. And those fears, Mr. Sharon, are about to be realized in the desecration and defilement you are about to allow against those who died and were buried in the cities and towns you are about to hand over to implacable enemies of the Jewish people
Where are the guards, Mr. Sharon?
Thousands of Jewish graves on the Mount of Olives have been defiled and desecrated by those with whom you shook hands. Go out, Mr. Sharon, go and take a good look at the thousands of gravestones that have been destroyed and defiled. Go, Mr. Prime Minister, go to Joseph's tomb (yes, the one abandoned in Shechem) and see what your newfound friends have done.
Where were the guards, Mr. Sharon?
Hundreds of ancient graves in Ashdod, Tzefat, and most recently Acco are excavated — and the bones of long-dead Jews are allowed to roll in the dirt of archeological diggings. Graves, Mr. Sharon. Graves are being desecrated on a daily basis with your permission. And when protesters decry the heartless ransacking and defilement, your guards, Mr. Sharon, do come. They come not to guard the graves from being desecrated but to guard and protect those who have taken the desecration of Jewish graves to a new height of callousness.
Where are the guards, Mr. Prime Minister? Where are the guards you should have sent to protect the remnants of our ancient Temple on the Mount?
Where were the guards needed to stop the truckloads of ancient artifacts dug out by the Muslims (they are still doing it!) from underneath the Temple Mount and dumped as so much garbage?
Don't tell me, Mr. Sharon; I think I know. Perhaps no guards can be spared because they're busy being trained for the fulfillment of your decree expelling Jewish families from their homes and communities.
You have become so apt in the art of lies and fabrications, Mr. Prime Minister, that you have forgotten one of Judaism's explicit teachings: "Guard thy tongue from evil and thy lips from speaking falsehood.."

On April 24, 2011 Jewish worshipers at Joseph's Tomb were attacked by members of the US-trained PA/PLO police. One person was murdered and several others wounded. Rather than keep the peace and root out the terrorists who are a threat to the safety of both Jews and Arabs, the PA/PLO police have yet again proven themselves to be a group that is willing to commit acts of terrorism themselves. Those Contradictory Militants
The mainstream media, politicians, and others, prefer to use the term "militant" instead of "terrorist," especially in the case of the Israeli-Arab conflict. Doing so fulfills many different agendas, in addition to furthering the user's cause. Whatever the case may be, the usage generally distorts the story and causes confusion for the reader, which many times is its exact intention. As with much post-1970s journalism, the longer news media use such language, the less they sound like journalists and the more they are heard as political partisans.
