US President Obama continually refuses to release Jonathan Pollard from prison despite the fact that many Israeli and US government leaders, including those from the FBI, CIA, NSA and Department of Justice, have called for his release. Contrary to statements spread by uninformed individuals, Pollard was never indicted for harming the United States, for compromising codes, agents, or war plans, nor was he ever charged with treason. Pollard was indicted on only one charge: one count of passing classified information to an ally, without intent to harm the United States, for which the usual sentence is only two to four years. One fact that stands out significantly is that while the United States continues to refuse to honor the plea agreement it made with Pollard, it demands that Israel release hundreds of terrorists who have been tried and convicted of committing multiple, heinous murders, of whom many of the victims are US citizens.
Music from the Jewish culture allows historians and other researchers to discover Jewish history from a unique point of view. Jewish music provides insight into details not usually found in common historical artifacts. Many organizations, specifically created for the research and study of Jewish music, are providing a wealth of information not previously known in that field of study.
Irena Sendler was a Polish Gentile who rescued more than 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto. The Life in a Jar project celebrates her accomplishments in defeating Hitler's intended murder of these children.
The Board of Directors of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany repeatedly sought to side-step the issue of the embezzlement of $57 million from the Holocaust survivor's benefit fund. This has resulted in the appalling suffering of Holocaust survivors, denying them the basic essentials of food, medicine, and other services to allow them to live out their remaining years with dignity.
UNRWA, a United Nations agency, provides summer camps for Arab children to teach them hatred of Israel and Jews and to continue the struggle to establish a new state called Palestine. Now it seems that the dean of UNRWA education has posted a portrait of Hitler on his Facebook page, and widely distributed it throughout the UNRWA school system.
Roger Waters, former member of Pink Floyd — along with other celebrities, has been calling for the boycott of Israeli goods. And that's fine, as long as he and others have truly weighed all the facts. So, they want to boycott Israel? I'll be sorry to miss you, but if you are doing it, do it properly. Let me help you.
The European Court of Auditors, the Luxembourg-based watchdog, will be issuing a report stating what most people already knew: €2.3 billion ($3.1 billion) made its way from Europe to the Arab-occupied territories between 2008 and 2012, much of which is unaccounted for, most likely squandered, lost to corruption, or misspent. This is nothing really new. Former PA/PLO leader and master terrorist Yasser Arafat amassed a personal wealth estimated to be $1.3 billion by 2002, most of which came from PA/PLO coffers. And yet the nations continue to give billions of dollars to the gang of terrorists known as the Palestinian Authority.
A US Court of Appeals recently ruled a law enabling US citizens born in Jerusalem to list Israel as their birthplace on US passports is unconstitutional because it infringes on the president's executive power to decide whether to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Although this is not done with regard to any other nation on earth, the US State Department dictates this policy, which the US president has abided by since the re-establishment of the nation of Israel in 1948.
The Israeli police commander has announced that the Temple Mount will stay closed to Jews and to tourists at least till after Eid al-Fitr (Muslim Feast of Breaking the Fast), on Sunday, 5 Elul 5774 / August 11, 2013. The only "explanation" offered was a bland sign which simply read "Today the Temple Mount will be closed to visitors." Those restrictions did not, however, apply to Muslim visitors, who continue to receive unrestricted access. While Jews are continually barred from the Temple Mount during the Muslim holy days, it is never closed to Muslims during Jewish holy days.

Ten spies were arrested around the same time as Jonathan Pollard or years later. They sold sensitive secrets, passed technology, and did not hesitate to expose other US agents. Dozens of spies have been caught operating on US soil. They received substantial sentences which were followed by reductions and early release. They are all free today. Only Jonathan Pollard remains in prison.
The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) has released the first-ever study mining the Arabic-language "Palestinian" social media environment to determine Arab public sentiment and its potential impact on US foreign policy. At FDD's direction, the Washington, D.C.-based Web analysis company Constrat viewed approximately 10,000 Arab social media entries between May 3 and August 3, 2010, of which it analyzed approximately 20 percent for relevancy. In the end, the company analyzed 1,788 statements contained within 1,114 unique posts across 996 threads written by 699 authors.
When an armed force holds territory beyond its own national borders, the term "occupation" is usually used to describe its holding on the land. However, not all the factual situations that we commonly think of as "occupation" fall within the limited scope of the term "occupation" as defined in international law.
Palestine has never existed . . . as an autonomous entity. There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs.

The government of Israel maintains several security corridors for the transfer of goods, humanitarian aid, fuel supplies, and other assistance for Gaza's Arab civilian population. Gaza is currently controlled by Hamas, a quasi-independent political/terrorist branch of the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority, based in Ramallah. This corridor is used by internationally recognized organizations including the United Nations and the Red Cross. Additional details can be found in our Gaza section.
